People laugh at me for my terrific walking speed:-

My walking speed is one thing on which people crack a joke very often . I haven't made up my mind to control it but still I can mathematically argue with them why my speed of walking is so fast.

Before that my purely imaginary best friend Prof.Charles Eppes will help you to get an insight of walking and the simple math it involves.

So In my case the curtate cycloids that I trace out are at a higher rate . To get an analogy to this see the motion if a circular hoop.

Consider the black dot as my Knee and the red dot as my heel .When I walk I do not move entirely as the hoop but only the first two of the six instants . The velocity of black dot determines how fast the hoop moves.Similarly the velocity of my black dot i.e my knee is given by

V= Sqrt( L.A)  where L is length of my leg and A is centripetal force experienced by by knee taking it as 'g' = 9.8 m/s^2  and L=44.41 cm (using the fact that leg length is approximately 24.7 % of my cool  height of 5.9 ft :P)

V= 2.078 m/sec......

So this is my walking speed .So when trying to make fun of me please take this into account please.:P

The essence of mathematics is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple.
